Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: August 26, 2026 · Version 2026-08-26.1

This policy explains the information Sun State Legal Forms processes for document completion, payment, download, email delivery, and evidence of agreement.

Information processed

We process entries you provide, your delivery email, order and payment status, disclosure and policy-acceptance records, technical request information, and support messages. Stripe processes payment-card details; Sun State Legal Forms does not receive your full card number.

Browser storage

An unfinished entry packet and the current disclosure acknowledgment are stored in this browser tab’s session storage so you can move between entry and review screens. This session data is not intended to persist after the tab or browser session ends. Older persistent draft keys are removed when encountered.

How information is used

Information is used to validate entries, generate the selected PDF, verify payment, provide an order-specific download, send delivery email, retain evidence of agreement, prevent fraud and abuse, troubleshoot errors, and comply with law.

Entry retention

Entries are retained in the order record while payment and document generation are pending. After the completed PDF passes configured field-placement verification and is stored for delivery, the entry packet is erased from the order record and a purge timestamp is retained.

Completed PDF retention

Completed PDFs are stored in access-controlled object storage. The order-specific download link expires after seven days. A scheduled deletion process removes expired PDFs in batches, so deletion may occur after the exact expiration time.

Agreement and order records

Limited order records—including the selected product, delivery email, price, payment and delivery status, applicable disclosure and policy versions and hashes, acceptance timestamps, and operational event records—may be retained for support, fraud prevention, accounting, legal compliance, and proof of agreement. If a Florida nonlawyer-assistance retention requirement applies, the required disclosure and document records may need to be retained for at least six years.

Service providers

Vercel provides website hosting and access-controlled file storage; Neon provides database services; Stripe processes checkout and payment; Mailjet sends transactional delivery email; and Google Analytics measures use of public informational pages. Analytics is disabled on checkout, payment-success, order, and download routes, and public-page measurements exclude URL query strings. We do not currently sell personal information or use questionnaire entries for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Security

We use access controls, encrypted transport, expiring order-specific links, and limited answer retention. A person who obtains a valid download link may be able to use it until it expires, so customers should not forward it. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Requests and contact

To request access to or deletion of personal information, email orders@sunstatelegalforms.com with the delivery email and order reference. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify the request. Some information may be retained when required for accounting, fraud prevention, proof of agreement, legal compliance, or an applicable nonlawyer-assistance recordkeeping obligation.

Children and policy changes

The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. Material policy changes will receive a new version and effective date. The version accepted for a completed order will remain associated with that order.
