Our purpose
Sun State Legal Forms publishes plain-language preparation information for people who have already selected a Florida form. Our guides are designed to help readers locate the official source, understand what information the form displays, and organize their own information before they begin.
Sun State is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. We do not decide which form a person should use, determine whether a form applies, select legal options, interpret legal language, calculate legal deadlines, or review a completed document for legal sufficiency.
Sources we prioritize
We start with primary sources whenever they are available. Depending on the form, those sources may include Florida Courts, the Florida Supreme Court, Florida Statutes, a Florida county clerk or court, or a Florida state agency. Guides link to the relevant official form or official information page so readers can inspect the source directly.
Secondary sources may help us identify questions worth answering, but they do not replace the official material when we describe a form, revision, filing resource, or agency requirement.
How a guide is prepared
- Confirm the form title, number, revision, and issuing authority against an official source.
- Read the form and its published instructions before describing the information it requests.
- Separate statewide information from county-specific information and label the jurisdiction clearly.
- Provide a link to the free official form on the relevant product or guide page when an official form is available.
- Use factual, neutral language and identify questions that require the reader, a clerk, a court, or a licensed attorney to decide.
- Record a publication or review date when a page contains time-sensitive form information.
Software and AI assistance
Software tools, including artificial intelligence, may assist with research organization, drafting, proofreading, link checks, and consistency checks. We do not treat generated text as an authority. Claims about a form are checked against the cited source before publication. Automation does not turn our content into legal advice or replace the reader’s review of the current official material.
Updates and revision monitoring
Forms, instructions, court procedures, links, and agency pages can change. We review important pages when we identify a new official revision or a material source change. A “last reviewed” or “last modified” date means the page received a substantive source or content review; it is not automatically changed on every site deployment.
Readers should always confirm the current form and local process with the issuing court, clerk, or agency before filing or relying on a document.
Corrections
If you find a broken official link, outdated revision, transcription error, or statement that does not match its source, email orders@sunstatelegalforms.com. Include the page URL and the official source that supports the correction. We review correction reports separately from order-support requests.
Commercial transparency
Official blank government forms are generally available free from the issuing authority. When Sun State offers a paid product, the charge is for customer-directed software that transfers customer-supplied information into a configured PDF and delivers the resulting files. It is not a charge for the official blank form, legal advice, form selection, filing, or court approval.
